Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) announced Sunday that it would open 25 locations to provide vaccinations as part of Phase 2 of the province's COVID-19 Immunization Plan.
There'll be 16 in the Vancouver/North Vancouver/West Vancouver/ Richmond area and one on Bowen Island.
Others will be located in Powell River, Squamish, Gibsons, Sechelt, Madeira Park, Whistler, Pemberton and Bella Coola.
Starting March 8, certain seniors living in the region can schedule their first shot.

Hours of operation will be March 16 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
March 18 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
March 23 from 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Vaccinations are free.
There will be dedicated, culturally sensitive locations for Indigenous peoples, including at Totem Hall for 麻豆社国产Nation members.
VCH says the following groups are encouraged to call:
- Seniors born in 1941 or earlier (80 years of age and older) who live in Squamish, on the Sunshine Coast, or in Powell River, Whistler, and Pemberton.
- Indigenous peoples (First Nations, Métis and Inuit) born in 1956 or earlier (65 years of age and older).
