Happy Wednesday, Whistler! Here's how your hump day is looking so far.

Today's calls for clearing skies with a high of about 11 C in Whistler. A low of 2 C is expected overnight, with partly cloudy skies. Looking to tomorrow, the forecast calls for mainly cloudy skies, with a high of about 7 C. 

, Whistler Blackcomb is forecasting clouds with sunny periods, with a high of about 4 C, a low of about -1 C, and moderate winds. The freezing level sits at about 2,600 metres. The mountain operator is reporting no fresh snow in the past 12 hours, and a base depth of about 207 cm. 

WB is reporting 70 groomed runs and 841 acres on Whistler, and 70 groomed runs and 754 acres on Blackcomb.

Both alpine and mid-mountain surface conditions are listed as variable.

"A pair of storm systems are expected to approach the coast through the next several days, but there is indication now that a ridge of high pressure will develop over the province, which likely will keep conditions mostly dry through the weekend. A mix of sun and cloud is expected today. A few isolated flurries are possible on Thursday with dry and warm conditions Friday through Sunday. Freezing levels are expected to rise to 2400 m by Saturday. Ridge winds are expected to be moderate this morning," WB said in its morning report.

The avalanche danger rating in the Sea to Sky is currently considerable, .

"and will continue to be a concern with the warm weather. Dangerous avalanche conditions exist and rider-triggered avalanches are likely," the forecaster said on its website.
