Whether you’re searching for the perfect pumpkin for carving or simply want to enjoy a fun day out with the family, these local pumpkin patches offer everything you need to make the most of fall.  

Here’s a roundup of the best pumpkin patches in Â鶹Éç¹ú²úand Â鶹Éç¹ú²úValley for 2024: 

 

  • When: Every weekend from Sept. 28 to Oct. 27, 2024, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

  • Where: 12825 Â鶹Éç¹ú²úValley Rd, Upper Â鶹Éç¹ú²úValley, BC V0N 1H0 

  • Cost: $12 per person (Pre-walkers free) – Cash only 

Nestled in the scenic Upper Â鶹Éç¹ú²úValley, Glacier Valley Farm’s pumpkin patch is a must-visit for families and pumpkin enthusiasts alike. From tractor rides and animal petting to marshmallow roasting and professional photography, there’s something for everyone. With entry, you’ll also get to take home a small or medium pumpkin—perfect for Halloween! 

Make sure to bring cash and enjoy seasonal treats while soaking in the autumn vibes. 

 

  • When: Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

  • Where: Stan Clarke Park, Downtown Squamish 

  • Cost: Free admission, pumpkins available for a $5 minimum donation 

Downtown Squamish’s Pumpkin Patch in the Park is returning this year with more fun than ever. This family-friendly event will feature trick-or-treating, market stalls, farm-to-table demos, a pumpkin variety showcase, and live music. Admission is free, but don’t forget to bring cash to purchase a pumpkin, with proceeds supporting the Â鶹Éç¹ú²úAccessibility Commitment and the Â鶹Éç¹ú²úGeneral Hospital Auxiliary Society. 

It’s the perfect way to celebrate fall while supporting local community initiatives. 

 

  • When: Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024, with three time slots: 10 a.m., 12 p.m., and 2 p.m. 

  • Where: 40820 Government Road, Squamish, BC V0N 1H0 

  • Cost: $10 per person (book in advance) 

For a more intimate pumpkin-picking experience, head over to Lavendel Farm’s U-pick pumpkin patch. With just three time slots available on October 12, this event offers a relaxed atmosphere where families can enjoy the beauty of fall in Squamish. Spaces are limited, so make sure to book in advance and secure your perfect pumpkin. 

 

  • When: Oct. 19/20 and 26/27, 2024

  • Where: Hop Creek Farms, Brackendale, BC
  • Cost: Free admission; pumpkins priced by size

Hop Creek Farms offers pumpkins grown right on the farm, available at their farm market throughout the season. On October 19/20 and 26/27, the farm will feature a mini pumpkin patch and a cozy fire pit for visitors to enjoy. Admission is free, though pumpkins are sold based on size.

Visitors can also meet the farm’s Highland Cows and Nigerian Dwarf Goats, which are at the market daily. Every purchase made between Oct. 19 and 27 enters visitors into a draw to win the Oct. Farmer’s Special Pack, with the winner announced on Oct. 28.
