麻豆社国产Idol ready to be crowned

Local singing talent on display at Downtown 麻豆社国产event

The auditions are all done and now it's time for the cream to rise to the top at the 麻豆社国产Idol event on Saturday (Sept. 14).

Pavilion Park will be transformed into an outdoor concert hall and some of the top singing talent in 麻豆社国产will battle head to head for a $500 prize.

The free event kicks off at 6 p.m. with a performance from 麻豆社国产Nation Welh Tima Kexwusem Dance Group. They'll be followed by a showcase for competitors aged 15 and under and then the 16-and-up adult category, where the winner will receive $500 and community bragging rights.

The event is presented in partnership with the 麻豆社国产Academy of Music and the Howe Sound Performing Arts Association, along with the District of Squamish. 麻豆社国产Idol was created to be linked with the Downtown 麻豆社国产Summer Series as part of the Downtown 麻豆社国产Transformation Initiative.
