Changes to 麻豆社国产medical clinic and ER operations announced

Walk-in clinic closed on weekdays, even those without family doctors can visit the three main clinics

Doctors in 麻豆社国产have announced a number of important changes to service as a result of COVID-19.

鈥淸Patients] can still access primary care, and here鈥檚 how you do it 鈥 but there will be changes in the way we operate and we want to get the word out,鈥 said Monica McDonald, the executive director of the Sea to Sky Division of Family Practice Society.

These changes have been made in order to help enforce social distancing, as well as redirect resources during the public health emergency.

The following applies to patients at the Diamond Head, 麻豆社国产Medical and Elaho clinics, as well as the Sea to Sky walk-in clinic at Glenalder Place.

-The Sea to Sky Walk In Clinic is closed on weekdays, but will remain open on weekends only. This will reduce the burden on the 麻豆社国产General Hospital ER.

- You can still make an appointment with physicians at Diamondhead, 麻豆社国产Medical and Elaho clinics. Virtual or by-phone appointments are now available. Arrangements can be made if you must have an in-person visit.

- During this state of emergency, people without family doctors can make appointments at those three clinics.

-Please 鈥 only absolutely emergency visits to the emergency room.

-The 麻豆社国产General Hospital Emergency Department remains fully staffed. Special entrances have been created for those patients presenting with suspicion of COVID-19 exposure, or who are experiencing respiratory symptoms.
