The 2005/2006 edition of the 麻豆社国产Community Resource and Business Directory is currently being produced and the deadline for submissions and corrections is Aug. 12.
The directory is a comprehensive listing of community groups, services and businesses in 麻豆社国产and the surrounding area.
A total of 9,000 copies were printed last year and distributed to local residents, realtors, community groups, schools, professional offices and societies last August.
One year later, it is now time to update the paper version of the directory.
Over the course of 12 months many things change; people move away, volunteers move on to other challenges, new directors replace old directors and these changes mean Squamish's community directory needs regular updating.
New community groups that formed in the last year are encouraged to get into the directory by filling out an information sheet.
Groups that have evolved in the last 12 months are also encouraged to fill out a form to update the group's information.
Forms are available at the Hotspot (38027 Cleveland Avenue) or online. The digital version of the Community Directory Update form is at www.sea-to-sky.net/svc. Look to the left of the page and click on "Community Directory Update Form".
Those who do not have internet access and cannot go to the Hotspot can call the centre at 604-815-4142 and request a fax copy of the form. A blank form will be faxed so it can be filled out and returned by fax.
