If you were wondering what all the sirens and flashing lights were about last night, emergency responders were called to a single-car motor vehicle incident on the 9500 block of Â鶹Éç¹ú²úValley Road.
No one was hurt.
The incident took place at around 9:27 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 24. Â鶹Éç¹ú²úFire Rescue responded with two rescue apparatus and a command vehicle, working in collaboration with the RCMP and BC Ambulance Service (BCAS).
“Â鶹Éç¹ú²úFire Rescue crews stabilized the emergency scene, assisted BCAS with patient assessments and ensured the vehicle hazards were mitigated,” said District of Â鶹Éç¹ú²úmedia specialist Rachel Boguski in an email to The Â鶹Éç¹ú²ú.
The scene was later handed over to the RCMP.
“There was a motor vehicle incident in that area,” said RCMP’s Kelly Wu, in an email to The Â鶹Éç¹ú²ú.
“I don’t have any further information to provide aside from no serious injuries sustained,” she said.
