Stong's Market opens new location in downtown Squamish

Grocery store expands to Squamish, joining Vancouver and North Vancouver locations.

has officially opened its 麻豆社国产location. 

The grocery retailer opened its doors Wednesday morning (March 13) in the former location at 38078 Cleveland Ave.

Zephyr closed in September. 

The store offers hot meals to go, a deli, fresh produce and other grocery items, as well as a selection of flowers, giftware and cards.

鈥淲e are excited to be opening our third location as a new concept for Stong鈥檚 in the growing community of Squamish,鈥 said Brian Bradley, president of  Stong鈥檚 Market,  when the 麻豆社国产location was announced.

According to the , Stong's was started by Carson Ross Stong and his brother Joe in Toronto in the early 1890s. In 1931, Carson Stong moved to B.C. 

The stores are now fully B.C. owned and operated, the company says.

There are currently two other Stong鈥檚 Market locations, on Dunbar Street in Vancouver and Northwoods Plaza in North Vancouver.
