BC Emergency Health Services tells The 麻豆社国产 it received a call at 3:57 p.m. on Saturday, regarding a motor vehicle incident involving a motorcycle on the Sea to Sky Highway near Furry Creek.
Two ground ambulances with primary care paramedics, one advanced care paramedic responder unit, one paramedic supervisor and an air ambulance helicopter responded to the crash.
Paramedics provided emergency medical treatment to the one patient who was transported to the hospital by air ambulance helicopter under the care of critical care paramedics.
On the Sea to Sky Road Conditions Facebook page, drivers note two other motorcyclists going down between Furry Creek and Porteau Cove today, March 2, however, thankfully, those two incidents today seem less serious.

DriveBC reports the highway is once again open in both directions.

Highway 99 is once again closed in both directions due to a crash. This time, the closure is south of the Furry Creek Bridge.
DriveBC reports that an air ambulance on the scene.
The accident appears to have happened at about 4:15 p.m. on March 1.
On the Sea to Sky Road Conditions Facebook page, drivers report also seeing a fire truck heading to the crash.
There is no word on when the highway will reopen, but DriveBC said "hopefully a lane can be opened once the helicopter leaves."
We have reached out to the RCMP for more information.
This is at least the third time this year the highway has been closed due to a crash.
Recently, a The 麻豆社国产 online poll asked readers, "Do you ever avoid travel on the Sea to Sky Highway for fear of a crash?"
Fifty-three per cent of respondents said they do avoid it; 42% said no.
Another, 3% said "other."
About 1% said they won't drive it.
