A Canadian woman took the best overall time in the hardest division of perhaps one of the most brutal ultramarathons to ever grace Â鶹Éç¹ú²úgrounds.
Jenny Quilty of Abbotsford beat out all the men and women in the Â鶹Éç¹ú²ú50’s 50-50 race with a time of 16:00:33 this past weekend.
The 50-50 is the toughest event of the race, forcing competitors to run both 50 kilometres and 50 miles throughout the competition.
David Meyers of Vancouver took the best male time in that event, clocking in at 16:42:04.
Also of note, Â鶹Éç¹ú²úrunners also snagged Top 3 times in the 50-mile, 50-kilometre and 23-kilometre events, respectively.
