It鈥檚 lucky 13 for Beyond the Valleycliffe of the Dolls.
The annual fun bike ride on the trails of Valleycliffe returns on Aug. 23, with all proceeds from the event going to 麻豆社国产Search and Rescue.
The event involves a deluxe-guided tour through five peaks in the Valleycliffe area, travelling on trails that are not accessible by vehicle. The ride itself is a no-pressure day with all involved encouraged to ride at their own level.
Coun. Bryan Raiser created the event and helped run it for 10 years, but it is now under the SORCA umbrella of events.
As in past years, the popular fruit booth is back. Halfway through the course, there will be a table set up with food and refreshments to help riders make it through the second half of the ride. There is also an after party for the event at the Howe Sound Brew Pub.
Registration for the BVOD occurs only on the day of the event, starting at 10 a.m. at Ravens Plateau in Valleycliffe. Ride-time is scheduled for 11 a.m. and registration is $40.
