It鈥檚 knuckle-up time for the Howe Sound Cannons.

The playoffs have arrived in the North Shore Men鈥檚 Baseball Association (NSMBA) and the Cannons are looking to reclaim their crown.

Howe Sound finished the 2014 regular season with a record of 10 wins and eight losses, good for second place in the NSMBA. The North Vancouver Reds finished atop the league with a record of 15 wins and three losses.聽

The Cannons ended the season on a low note with consecutive 10-0 losses to the Reds and the A鈥檚 on July 26 in Squamish, but have an opportunity to redeem themselves in the postseason.聽

The round robin format sees all five teams play each other once, with the top two teams meeting in a best-of-three final in North Vancouver starting on Aug. 14. The Cannons playoffs games are scheduled for Aug. 5, 6, 9 and 12 in North Vancouver. The Reds are the defending NSMBA champions, but the Cannons look to win their sixth title in eight years by capturing the 2014 pennant.聽
