The Howe Sound Cannons used a balanced attack to defeat the North Vancouver Reds 10-1 in North Shore Men's Baseball Association (NSMBA) action on Tuesday (July 2) at Laroy Watt Field.
All but one Cannons player had at least one hit, and the 麻豆社国产team used three pitchers, who were all dominant in this game, team member David Jones wrote in an email.
The victory helped the second-place Cannons (7-3) keep pace with league-leading North Shore Brewers (8-4), with two game in hand.
The pitching depth is a big bonus for the Cannons entering this weekend's Dayrod Midseason Tournament in North Vancouver. Howe Sound has won the tourney five years in a row. Winning prize money at the tourney would boost the team's plans to participate in the NABA World Series in Phoenix, Ariz., in October.
The Cannons' next home date is July 13, when the Cannons host a twin bill against the Deep Cove Mighty A's and the Brewers.
