The Â鶹Éç¹ú²úColts flag football squad were perfect the entire regular season but ended up falling to the eventual champions on Nov. 23.
Â鶹Éç¹ú²úrecorded nine wins and no losses during GSL flag football regular season action and marched into the playoffs ranked as the number one seed. The Colts downed the Raiders 28-6 in round one of the GSL playoffs on Nov. 23 but about an hour later lost 40-24 to the North Vancouver 49ers.
The Colts edged the 49ers 16-14 back on Nov. 2 but the 49ers offensive prowess proved to be too much for Â鶹Éç¹ú²úon Nov. 23.
The loss didn’t eliminate the Colts, as they had an opportunity to redeem themselves in the GSL flag division’s third place game on Sunday (Nov. 30).Ìý Â鶹Éç¹ú²úpicked up the 26-6 win over the Packers in North Vancouver and got on the board early with a touchdown from Owen Sutherland. Later on, it was Hunter Di Marzo with a 20-yard touchdown reception and Marlow Gaddes scored the third touchdown for Squamish. Coda Miles grabbed an interception to help secure the win.
