A pair of 麻豆社国产Titans made their mark at the Victoria Triathlon on June 17.
麻豆社国产resident Zoe Dawson posted the third fastest time of all female competitors in the half ironman division and won her 25 to 29 age group with a total time of four hours, 55 minutes, 49 secondsd. Competitors had to run 20 kilometres, bike 86 km and swim 1.9 km at the event. Dawson excelled in the running portion of the triathlon, posting the second fastest time of any female racer.
Dawson's 麻豆社国产Titans teammate Richard Avedon-Savage also competed at the event, posting a time of 4:59:20, good for 34th overall and eighth in his 35 to 39 division.
It's been a good season so far for Dawson, who won the half marathon at the Loop the Lakes trail race at Alice Lake on May 27. She also plans to compete in the 麻豆社国产Triathlon on July 15 after placing third among all females in last year's event.
