Cycling B.C. is bringing its downhill development camp to town and is looking for young riders to hit the trails.
The two-day camp that takes place this weekend (March 23 and 24) will see riders engage in on- and off-bike activities.
Day 1 will kick off at 10 a.m. and see participants work on skills and drills until 2 p.m. with Cory Leclerc and the C4 team based in Squamish. After a quick lunch, camp goers will take part in a two-hour gym session to finish the day.
Day 2 will be more skills and drills from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and then a lunch and meet and greet with Richard Wooles of Cycling B.C until 3 p.m. A social ride will take place after the meet and greet.
The camp is open to all Cycling B.C. members U19 and riders should have at least participated in one race and ride at an intermediate level. For more information on the camp, contact organizer Tara Mowat at [email protected] or call her at (604) 737-3034.
