Horse enthusiasts from all over the Sea to Sky Corridor are encouraged to attend the final show for the 麻豆社国产Valley Equestrian Association (SVEA) on Sunday (Sept. 19).

The event includes four different divisions; hack, hunter, jumper and dressage. Dressage is a new addition to the groups events and it involves a series of pre-determined tests of various manoeuvres including the extended trot. Both the rider and horse are judged on the smoothness of movement.

Judge Nancy Olson oversees dressage, the first event of the day at 9 a.m. Judge Wendy Elliot oversees the hunter/jumper portion at 10 a.m.

Assessed will be form, manners, fluidity of movement and clearing certain heights.

A barbecue and show programs will be available with proceeds going to the SVEA's year-end party later this month.

Locals are also encouraged to bring a donation to the food bank to qualify for a prize.

The family-friendly event is free and suitable for audience members of all ages. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed at all times.

The show will take place at the equestrian grounds located off Loggers Lane north of Finch Avenue and south of Brennan Park Recreation Centre.
