The Hoskin girls cleaned up at the SunRype Tri Kids Triathlon in Burnaby on Saturday (May 31).
Fresh off strong showings at the 麻豆社国产Youth Triathlon on May 11, Michaela and Elly Hoskin won their respective age categories in Burnaby.
Michaela won the 12 and 13 age group, beating 28 other boys and girls with a time of 27 minutes, five seconds. She swam 200 metres, biked six kilometres and ran 2.5 km in the process.
Younger sister Elly won the 10 and 11 division by blazing through the course in 19:23 and beat out 86 other boys and girls to take top prize. Elly swam 100 m, biked four km and ran two km in the victory.
It鈥檚 the first time both sisters have won at the same time.
A handful of other 麻豆社国产residents also competed at the event including: James Howarth (10:13, 6/7 division), Jenny Howarth (9:06, 3 to 5 division), Rylan Armstrong (12:12, 8/9 division) and Tyler Ng (33:30, 12/13 division).
