It was the tale of two runs for 麻豆社国产luger Nicky Klimchuk-Brown in Germany on Saturday (Jan. 24).
The Coast Mountain Academy student was in Oberhof, Germany for the fourth Junior World Cup luge race and came out of the gates flying.
Klimchuk-Brown had the fastest start of all 55 competitors and ultimately placed fifth in his first run with a time of 42.506 seconds, reaching a top speed of 106.76 km/h. The momentum didn鈥檛 carry on to his second run, as he placed 30th overall and posted a time of 43.334 seconds.
The combined runs equaled out to a ranking of 17th overall for the 麻豆社国产resident.
He still sits in fifth in the world in the Youth category, with a narrow six point lead over the sixth place racer.
