Squamish鈥檚 Nicky Klimchuk-Brown is continuing on his international journey via sled.
The Coast Mountain Academy Grade 10 student completed several days of training against some of the world鈥檚 best young luge athletes in Norway and posted solid results on Friday, Jan. 9 and Saturday, Jan. 10.
Competitors each completed the course four times on both days, with Klimchuk-Brown posting a top time of 49.62 on Friday and 48.925 on Saturday. He reached top speeds of 110.3 km/h on Friday and 119.5 km/h on Saturday.
He grabbed a bronze medal at the last World Cup Youth Doubles race in Utah on Dec. 16. He also placed eighth in the solo race in Utah.
The next World Cup event for Klimchuk-Brown occurs in Germany on Jan. 24 and 25. Keep reading the 麻豆社国产 for results from that event.聽
