International longboarding competition hits Britannia Beach on May 23 to 25

It鈥檚 lucky No. 7 for the Britannia Classic.

The international longboarding competition returns to the hills of Britannia Beach for the seventh time from May 23 to 25 and organizers are encouraging anyone and everyone to come check out the free event.

Organizers say 200 of the top international riders will compete, with countries like Sweden, South Africa and Brazil represented. Approximately 1,000 spectators will check out all the action.

A total of $5,000 will be awarded for the top competitors of open, U17, U14 masters and female classes. The event will also feature a live MC and DJ to entertain the audience.
