The Sea to Sky Enduro Series returns to 麻豆社国产on July 5.
The brand new series debuted in 麻豆社国产on May 3 with The Gryphon. Next up is the debut of The Mock Turtle.听
Cycling groups from North Vancouver (NSMBA), 麻豆社国产(麻豆社国产Enduro), Whistler (WORCA) and Pemberton (PVTA) came together to create the series, with all proceeds from the events aiming to help trail builders in each community.
According to the 麻豆社国产Enduro group鈥檚 website, an enduro race typically consists of three to five timed stages which take place on technical, generally descending terrain. The stages are linked by predominantly ascending connecting stages.
Similar to The Gryphon, race details for The Mock Turtle are not being released until July 3 at 5 p.m. Organizers state that each of the five stages will be unique and there will be primes. An minimum 鈥渋ntermediate鈥 level of riding is recommended for the event.
It all gets underway at 10 a.m., with the last riders crossing the finish line by 3 p.m. After the race, there will be an after party at The Spice Root Kitchen and Bar starting at 6:30 p.m. An awards ceremony and prize giveaways get going at 7:30 p.m.
The Mock Turtle costs $80 to register and will go down rain or shine. It鈥檚 the fifth race in the series, with the series concluding on July 26 in Whistler.
On May 3, the series debuted in 麻豆社国产with The Gryphon. Whistler鈥檚 Jesse Melamed won that race for the elite men and by Squamish鈥檚 Miranda Miller for the elite women. Other winners included: Pat Foster (open men), Simmone Lyons (open women), Chad Hendren (master鈥檚 men), Elladee Brown (master鈥檚 women) and Luke Di Marzo (junior men).听
