For the first time ever the British Columbia Major Midget League (BCMML) is hosting a regular season game in Squamish.
The Vancouver NW Giants play the first of two home games at Brennan Park Arena on Saturday (Nov. 1) and the entire community is invited to check out this free hockey excitement.
Alumni from the Giants include former 麻豆社国产Minor Hockey Association (SMHA) products Dalton Thrower, Malik Kaila, Josh Thrower and Jarid Lukosevicius.
The game is an extension of the relationship between the SMHA and the Giants that has been established from the BCMML Exhibition Weekend, which has occurred the last three years in Squamish.
As of press time, the Giants are in second place in the BCMML with a perfect record of nine wins and no losses, while the Chiefs are tied for fourth with 12 points.
Kal Tire 麻豆社国产sponsors Saturday鈥檚 game and a pair of Vancouver Canucks tickets will be given away to the SMHA team that has the largest percentage of players attending the game. All SMHA players are encouraged to wear their SMHA green jersey to the game.
The Giants return to 麻豆社国产for another home game on Dec. 13 when they host the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds.
