The male and female winners of the 2014 Test of Metal in 麻豆社国产are off to Glasgow, Scotland, later this month to represent Canada at the 20th Commonwealth Games.
Catharine Pendrel, who won the women鈥檚 race, and Max Plaxton, winner of the men鈥檚 Test of Metal in 麻豆社国产on June 14, make up half of Canada鈥檚 contingent in cross-country mountain biking at the Games, an Olympic-style competition featuring teams from countries that are part of the British Commonwealth.
The Commonwealth Games, the largest multi-sport event ever staged on Scottish soil., are scheduled July 23 to Aug. 4.
