It's time again for the 麻豆社国产Pirates swim club to make the opposition walk the plank - in the club's own backyard.
The Pirates are hosting their annual swim meet on Sunday (May 26) and will draw hundreds of swimmers from the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island to Brennan Park pool.
Last year saw close to 250 swimmers hit the water and local swimmers Wyatt Pedersen and Eli Chappell break meet records. A total of 10 meet records were smashed at last year's event.
The British Columbia Summer Swim Association (BCSSA) event gets underway bright and early on Sunday morning and lasts till well into the afternoon. 麻豆社国产residents are encouraged to check out the free event and cheer on the local swimmers.
