Â鶹Éç¹ú²úOlympians Maëlle Ricker and Rob Fagan got to say farewell to the 2013-’14 snowboard season on a high note on Saturday (April 19).

The pair were part of the first-ever BERMuda Banked Slalom event at Cypress Mountain, an event that saw all proceeds raised go to the Tim Jones Legacy Fund to benefit the North Shore Mountain Rescue.

The BERMuda challenged riders to post the fastest time down a slalom course with banked turns.

Ricker posted the top time out of 35 women, one minute, 16.61 seconds. The four-time Olympian and 2010 gold medallist in snowboard cross was fourth overall among all competitors at the event. Fagan also had a good day, with the seventh-fastest time overall (1:17.02).Ìý
