Rosser places second in Quebec

Local rider posts strong showing in Elite division debut

There was a distinct 麻豆社国产flavour in the Elite Female downhill mountain biking championships at Mont Ste-Anne, Que. on Sunday (July 8).

Lauren Rosser, competing for the first time at the event in the Elite Female division, placed second with a time of five minutes, 16.497 seconds. Rosser finished a little under five seconds behind winner Casey Brown from Revelstoke. Squamish's Miranda Miller also competed, placing fifth with a time of 5:23.066.

Rosser and Miller aren't the only Team 麻豆社国产members who've been busy in the month of July. Several members took part in the Bear Mountain downhill race in Mission on July 1 and posted some strong results.

Mikayla Martin took home first place in the Junior Women division with a time of 6:25.64. Luke Di Marzo also snagged a gold, winning the U17 Sport Men division with a time of 4:52.73. Sam Berisford placed fourth in the U15 Men, with Hunter Verner finishing 14th. Harry Head also competed in the U17, placing 21st.
