The Whistler Saints are heading to the North Shore Football League championship game.
The Saints earned a berth to the final with a 14-12 win over the North Vancouver Packers on Sunday (Nov. 17).
Beynon McKeen got the Saints on the board in the first half with a 40-yard touchdown run but the team fell behind in the second half 12-7. It was quarterback Liam Forsyth scoring on a 20-yard run to give the Saints the win in the fourth quarter and move on to the final.
The flag football division team, made up of players from the Sea to Sky Corridor, will take on the North Vancouver Raiders in North Vancouver on Sunday (Nov. 24) at 9 a.m.
The two teams met twice in the regular season and split the games, with the Saints winning 26-12 on Sept. 8 and the Raiders handing the Saints the club's only loss,16-0 on Oct. 14.
