The Vancouver Metro Soccer League鈥檚 (VMSL) king of division 3C extended the streak to six with a 5-0 win over Bosna SC in 麻豆社国产on Saturday, Oct. 11.
麻豆社国产opened the scoring at the 20-minute mark when Jared 鈥淭he Muffin Slinger鈥� Bir set up Jeremy 鈥淏ig Cat鈥� Galley with a ball into the box that Galley knocked into the corner with a header.
Richard 鈥淕olden Boot鈥� Collins made it 2-0 about five minutes later after a cut back by striker Jag Sangha and Collins would strike again before half time after pouncing on a loose ball in a scramble in front of the Bosna goal.
Tempers flared near the end of the second half with a few cards dished out, but cooler heads prevailed and 麻豆社国产exited the first half with a comfortable 3-0 lead.
麻豆社国产continued its strong play in the second half, with Quest alumni Fabrizio 鈥淲erdum鈥� Luzio connecting with a 20 yard strike into the bottom right corner in the 60th minute. Charles 鈥淩oulette Wheel鈥� Impey, another Quest alumni, added a goal after converting a Jag Sangha free kick with a diving header. Goalkeeper Sam Dunkley recorded his fourth VMSL shutout in the win.
The victory improves United to a perfect record of six wins and no losses. 麻豆社国产has outscored the opposition 28-2 in the six games.
麻豆社国产looks to stretch the streak to seven when they travel to West Vancouver to take on the West Van Royals on Saturday (Oct. 18). The next home game for the team occurs on Oct. 25 when the AFC Warriors come to town.聽
