The Howe Sound Sounders rugby team鈥檚 first trip to the postseason proved to be a short one as the Sounders lost 78-0 to Seycove on May 8.
Seycove turned out to be a tough draw for the Sounders, as the Seyhawks went undefeated during the regular season and dominated most of their opponents.
Kaden Bauer was named the man of the match for the Sounders and Lepine said the fullback made a number of saving tackles and had stints of powerful ball handling throughout the game.
The Sounders are competing in a rugby sevens tournament in Sechelt and then wrap up the season with an intrasquad game on May 20. The team is also planning to hand out its year-end awards after the intrasquad game.
