Soccer celebrates final
The 麻豆社国产Youth Soccer Association U18 Select 麻豆社国产United FC-99聽Boys celebrate second聽place in the 4 District Soccer League Pioneer Cup final in Burnaby on Saturday, Feb 25.聽
Goalie Nick Antone saved all but one goal, but that was enough for the Vancouver United FC Predators to take the cup 1-0.聽
The league is made up of聽boys teams from Burnaby, Richmond, Vancouver and the North Shore.聽The U18 Boys will be practicing with focus this week to prepare for their Provincial B-Cup play down Cup final match on Saturday, March 4 at 11:30 a.m. at Confederation turf against North Vancouver Wild for the North Shore Coastal Cup berth.

CMA Student wins Presidents tournament
Coast Mountain Academy student 14-year-old Isabella Williams recently traveled to Arizona with her premier soccer team the Mountain United Football Club where they won the Presidents tournament. A member of Coast Mountain Academy鈥檚 Soccer Academy, Williams, a sticker and a proud member of the 麻豆社国产Nation, has received numerous awards from MVP to honour roll. Williams is a member of a youth group, Menkis group, that teaches leadership skills and fundraises, she has also been a member of a First Nations dance group since she was a little girl. This summer Williams will be going to Germany for a 12-day soccer tour with her Premier team and has been invited to train with the Whitecaps.
Undefeated UFC fighter
Undefeated UFC fighter Jeremy Kennedy, stopped by 麻豆社国产to teach a class with the SOUND MMA Fight Team. His next fight is in Brazil. Kennedy took a picture with Battlefield champ Cole Smith. Kennedy once held that title too.
