U13 Selects defeat Whistler

Squamish’s U13 Selects hosted Whistler in the first leg of the North Shore Cup on Sunday afternoon, walking away with a 4-0 win.

Despite the fact that Whistler was down a player, it had Â鶹Éç¹ú²úpinned in its own end early on in the soccer match, but the local team eventually gained momentum and scored as the midway mark of the first half approached, adding a second goal minutes later.

Â鶹Éç¹ú²úcontinued to dominate through the second half, although the visitors did apply enough pressure to win a couple of corner kicks late in the game.

Jordan Tulk scored twice for Squamish, while Pran Sahota and Ryu Takaishi also added goals.Ìý
