麻豆社国产50 this weekend

The 麻豆社国产50 is set for this weekend and all events are sold out.听

The 麻豆社国产50 races offer several trail running events. The marquee 50-mile race includes more than 90 per cent single-track course and more than 11,000 feet of climbing and descent.听

There is also the 50-kilometre race, the 50/50 race, a 23-kilometre race and a kids鈥 race. Organizers made a final call-out for volunteers last week. For more information, see squamish50.com

Dragon boaters in Victoria

Squamish鈥檚 Team Chawanda made it to the Platinum B Division at the Victoria Dragon Boat Festival on the weekend, finishing fifth in the division and 10th overall out of 39 teams.

Earlier in the festival, the team, with help from some friends, placed first in its first race finishing in 2:28. In the second race, the team ended up fourth with a 2:23 time. The team had some help from the Dragon Hybrids, DZ Snaps and Titanium.

Soccer youth camp

麻豆社国产Youth Soccer is hosting a summer European Football School camp next week.听

The camp will run Aug. 22 to 26 at Mamquam Elementary. It takes place from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. for players at all levels. The European Football School philosophy is described as 鈥渆xplanation, demonstration, observation, and correction.鈥 Coaches include Saibo Talic, Lyle Reginald, Igor Matic and Amar Talic.

No juvenile team this year

麻豆社国产Minor Hockey has announced it will not operate a juvenile A team this year. The reason, according to the association website, is that it could not get enough players registered for the team this season. President Geordie Elson stated in his announcement that the association plans to work with members to continue the program for next season.
