Two young 麻豆社国产lugers continue to zoom towards strong results as the season draws to its conclusion.
Racers Nicky Klimchuk-Brown and Yamil Galaz competed in the third B.C. Cup run of the season on Sunday (March 3) and posted strong showing on their home track at the Whistler Sliding Centre.
Klimchuk-Brown posted times of 39.245 and 39.137 seconds, respectively, and reached a top speed of more than 124 kilometres per hour to place first in the youth men's division.
It's been a great season for Klimchuk-Brown, who also captured first place in the two previous B.C. Cup races and grabbed a second-place finish at the Canada Cup race in Calgary on Feb. 17.
Galaz placed fourth on Sunday's race with times of 39.628 and 39.701 seconds. He reached a top speed of 124.22 km per hour on his second run. Galaz finished fourth at the first B.C. Cup, fifth at the second B.C. Cup race and posted a fourth-place finish at the Canada Cup event.
Next up for the duo will be the youth nationals in Whistler on Saturday (March 9) and then the provincial championships, also in Whistler, on March 17.
