The 麻豆社国产Titans made a splash at the provincial competition for the Masters Swimming Association of British Columbia in Victoria last weekend, soaking up a total of eight medals.
With five silver medals and three bronze, the 17 swimmers from 麻豆社国产also earned the Title and Trophy for a Small Team. It's the second consecutive year the team has swum home with the award with a total of 3,939 points 鈥� beating their own previous score of 3,634 points in 2018. They were 155 points ahead of the next closest team, the Coast Swim Team from Vancouver, in their category of fewer than 30 swimmers per team.
This award goes to the team who gains the most number of a points-based system that adds up over the B.C. meets before the annual provincials. Twenty points are earned by a first place finish, 17 points for coming in second, 16 points for third, and so on. Points are doubled for relays.
"It was incredible how everyone rallied to ensure we kept our title," coach Roseline Grimm told The Chief.
Next up, the 麻豆社国产Titans are getting ready to crush the upcoming spring and summer triathlons, Ironman and open water races.
