麻豆社国产United remains undefeated

VMSL club improves to 4-0 record with win over Lobbans FC

Four up and four down for 麻豆社国产United FC.

The Division 3 club grabbed its fourth consecutive win in Vancouver Metro Soccer League (VMSL) action with a 2-1 win over Lobbans FC in 麻豆社国产on Saturday (Sept. 27).

Nevin Benning and Rich Collins scored the goals for Squamish, who remain in first place in Division 3C with the win. 麻豆社国产United now has a record of four wins and no losses and have outscored the opposition 20-1.

However, the last two games have been much closer for Squamish, each being one-goal matches. The team returns to action on Oct. 4 when they travel to Vancouver to take on Norwest United. The next home game for the team is n Oct. 25 when the AFC Warriors come to Squamish.

Meanwhile, Howe Sound Men鈥檚 Soccer League (HSMSL) action resumed on Sunday (Sept. 28), with Whistler continuing their strong early season run.

Whistler defeated the Ellis Moving Eagles 5-1 to improve to a perfect three wins and no losses on the season. The day鈥檚 other game saw Galileo defeat the Gunners 7-0. Galileo is also undefeated with a record of two wins and no losses.

HSMSL action resumes on Sunday (Oct. 5), with Galileo battling Sikh Temple and the Eagles squaring off with the Gunners.
