When it comes to climbing, 麻豆社国产youngsters on the Ground Up Youth Team are showing they've got what it takes.
At the March 30 and 31 Spring Cling competition by Sport Climbing BC at the Richmond Olympic Oval, the team brought home multiple medals.
Sofia Aragon took third place in difficulty Youth D for the girls, while Owen McJannet placed third in difficulty Youth C. Squamish's Griffin Tulk and Max Kleinmann were close behind, placing seventh and eighth respectively. For the girls, Winter Robichaud took home 10th place, and Nicole McLeod came in at 18.
When it came to speed, 麻豆社国产kids also appeared on top. Kleinmann took first place in the Youth C male category, with McJannet placing third again. Robichaud landed in fourth for the Youth C female category, with McLeod placing at 17.
The next Sport Climbing BC competition will be held on the club's home turf at Ground Up in Squamish. Climbing clubs from across the province 鈥� and the U.S. 鈥� are expected to compete at Gravity Wars on April 6 and 7, featuring top rope, lead and speed climbing.
