Team 麻豆社国产returned to the Pumpkin Cross in Maple Ridge and returned home with more tricks than treats.
It鈥檚 the second straight year that the youth mountain bike team has participated in the event and just like year one, it was a success.
Ethan Toom and Luke Di Marzo were first and second respectively in the U19 division, with Hunter Verner also snagging first place in the U17 category. Meanwhile, Squamish鈥檚 Rhys Verner placed third in the elite men division.
The Halloween-themed race saw riders take over the Maple Ridge Equi-Sport Centre and the track featured several spooky obstacles such as the giant spiral of death and Lezyne Lake. Racers were encouraged to dress up in costume and prizes were awarded for the best.
The 2014 edition of the race saw the introduction of the team challenge event for beginner and intermediate racers, as well as the children鈥檚 specialty wheeled race.
