Soccerfest next month听
The annual 麻豆社国产Soccerfest Tournament is taking place on April 8 and 9. The weekend consists of 72 teams in total (36 Mens and 36 Ladies) playing soccer all weekend, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day.听
鈥淲e have one of the most beautiful settings in B.C. for soccer. Come out and enjoy a great weekend of soccer, good times and good friends,鈥� says the 麻豆社国产Soccer Association鈥檚 website.听

Music starts at noon both days and giveaways happen throughout the day. The event also has a beer garden from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and a concession stand is open throughout the day.听

Alice Lake race
The Alice Lake-Race 1 is set for April 15 and is now a sold-out event put on by Five Peaks Run Wild, which delivers events throughout B.C. The day features a variety of races, including the Children鈥檚 Challenge, Timed Kids Race and a short-distance Sports Course and longer Enduro Route.听
Spectators are welcome and it鈥檚 best to view from the start and finish areas.听
After the race, awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in each category, as well as the top three male and female finishers overall.听
