The streak is over for the Sea to Sky Pee Wee Titans.
The club suffered its first loss of the season on Sunday (Sept. 30), falling 22-6 to the North Vancouver Colts. The setback marked the first time the Titans have tasted defeat after opening the season with two wins and a tie.
Despite the loss, Titans wide receiver Luke Haasen had a strong game, scoring the team's only touchdown and grabbing an interception on defence. Scott Friestadt led the way defensively, picking up six tackles.
Meanwhile, the Sea to Sky Minor Titans remain winless after losing 27-0 to the Richmond Raiders on Sunday. Nolan Welch and Hunter Verner were the standout players for the Titans, as they picked up 50 yards of offence apiece.
Both teams will be back in action on Thanksgiving Monday (Oct. 8) at Howe Sound field. The Pee Wees will host the Warriors starting at 11:30 a.m., with the Minors welcoming the Seahawks for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
