Squamish鈥檚 Cody 鈥淭KO鈥 Smit celebrates a victory in Oregon flanked by his two allies. Smith returns to Totem Hall on Friday to face former WWE superstar Jinder Mahal.

Cody 鈥淭KO鈥 Smith鈥檚 pro wrestling career has never been hotter.

The 麻豆社国产resident is in demand south of the border, competing in Oregon and Nevada, and returns to Totem Hall on Friday (March 27) to battle former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar Jinder Mahal.

Smith has had a love-hate relationship with local fans over the years and that trend could continue at Friday鈥檚 show. He admitted to attacking Mahal after a recent match in Vancouver, but said he鈥檒l be bringing his best to Squamish.

鈥淲hat happened in the past should stay in the past,鈥 he said. 鈥淏ut if Mahal wants to bring that to 麻豆社国产I鈥檒l deal with that then. I鈥檓 looking forward to the match, it鈥檒l be two bulls locking horns and I鈥檓 sure the match will not just be in the ring, but all over Totem Hall.鈥

It鈥檚 the first time the two wrestlers have ever squared off and Smith said he and his tag team partner Travis Syonis eventually plan to take the All Star Wrestling tag team titles from Mahal and his partner Gama Singh Jr.

It isn鈥檛 just ASW where Smith is raising hell, as he鈥檚 also starring in Oregon with the West Coast Wrestling Connection (WCWC) and in Las Vegas with PPW. Smith was selected to help carry on the legendary 鈥淕rappler鈥 moniker with WCWC, following in the footsteps of Oregon legend Len Denton.

鈥淚t鈥檚 an honour to work with him and to have my name etched into wrestling history,鈥 he said.

Both WCWC and PPW air on-television broadcast throughout the world and online. He鈥檚 also working with former WWE women鈥檚 champion Lisa Marie Varon, (aka: Victoria) who has been accompanying him to his bouts.

Smith and Mahal is one of several bouts occurring at the Totem Hall. ASW cruiserweight champion battles 鈥淐ougar Meat Kid鈥 Colin Cutler in a title match, 麻豆社国产favourite Mr. India faces Syonis, Disco Fury takes on Azeem the Dream and Adam Ryder locks horns with The Great Kasaki.

It all goes down on Friday at Totem Hall with doors opening at 7 p.m. and the first match occurring at 8 p.m. For more information on the event, visit www.facebook.com/events/830335183690078.
