U11 boys win Green River League

A group of U11 boys soccer players from 麻豆社国产came out on top of the Green River Soccer League round-robin standings and is looking forward season-ending tournament this weekend.

A group of U11 boys soccer players from 麻豆社国产came out on top of the Green River Soccer League round-robin standings and is looking forward season-ending tournament this weekend.

The Green River League includes teams from Mount Currie, Pemberton, Whistler and 麻豆社国产and takes place from late April to June, with games played in Whistler and Pemberton. Team Squamish, coached by Dieter and Peter Weiland, came out on top of the table this spring with four wins, no losses and two draws.

The U11 Team 麻豆社国产boys team includes Rafi Abolfathi, Jake Ellis, Layton Pears, Willie Trento, Navroop Gill, Aiden Barrett, Michael Weiland, Christopher Waters, Leon Stubley, Tom Weiland, Adam Klimchuk-Brown, Tyler Venekamp, Nicholas Sutherland, Mickey Williston, Hayden and August Fredericks.

U11 Team 麻豆社国产also was recently nominated in the BMO Team of the Week competition, a contest run by the Bank of Montreal in partnership with the Canadian Soccer Association. Anyone can nominate a soccer team between comprised of players between ages 7 and 12, then vote for their favourite team during each of 15 weeks. The 15 winning teams will then be entered into a contest to determine a grand-prize winner of $125,000 toward soccer field refurbishments in their community and a trip to a Vancouver Whitecaps or Toronto FC soccer match.
