The soccer season is just getting underway but the 麻豆社国产Strikers U14 girls rep team has already started the year off strong.
They came away from Chilliwack on Saturday (Aug. 28) and Sunday (Aug. 29) as worthy winnersin the girls U14 Gold medal game against a strong Williams Lake team.
After a 2-1 opening game win against the Sunshine Coast on Saturday (Aug. 28) morning, 麻豆社国产played a very tough and aggressive Williams Lake squad later in the day succumbing by a margin of 4-2
On Sunday (Aug. 29) morningthe Strikers felt they had something to prove and came back strongly with a 3-1 victory against Aldergrove. The early win meant the team had a chance toscore at least one victory against the same Williams Lake team they lost to in thefinal later that day.
With the Squamishgirls learning from their previous mistakes in the earlier encounter, it was all 麻豆社国产in the final game of the day.
With two fine strikes from Maddie Fiest and with 麻豆社国产hitting the woodwork on three occasions it was the Strikers who came away with the gold and worthy champions. It was an outstanding team effort and great way to welcome in the new soccer season.
