One of Team Squamish鈥檚 riders has clinched victory at the second event of the Canada Cup series.
Holden Jones placed first in the under-19 category with a time of one hour, six minute and 29 seconds, beating out his closest competitor by just over a minute.
Jones, who represented Cycling BC at the event, managed to best 41 other riders to take the gold for the cross-country bike race.
Taking place in Mont Tremblant, Quebec, the race pitted riders from all over the world against each other.
Cyclists from Canada, the United States, Bermuda and the Czech Republic all flocked to the event to test their abilities.
Other local riders were also at the event.
Nick Kleban placed in the middle of the pack during the same event, grabbing 26th place.
In the Elite Men鈥檚 events, Quinn Moberg managed to grab 13th.
