Letter: Making Highway 99 safer

There is a simple solution to taming the Sea to Sky Highway typically marred with speeders, lane violators, motorcycle curb-lane violators and just plain drivers who travel recklessly down one of the most beautiful highways in the country — photo radar.

I am all for reducing the odds of tragedy on this highway and reducing the stress of all drivers.  

I hear there are not enough police to patrol the highway so what is the issue with introducing photo radar and cameras to record violations, enforce road rules and make the highway a safer calmer ride?
