Regarding the editorial, “You Squamish, created the OCP” [published Nov. 4]:

I have definitely lived in 麻豆社国产since 2016, and I resent many of the comments made in this editorial.

This isn’t Facebook, this is The 麻豆社国产 and although I respect that newspapers print opinion content, this particular piece felt like a direct attack against our community.

Who are you to lecture the people of Squamish?

I definitely am complaining about the and certainly do have a short fuse when my neighbourhood and the life that I have worked hard to build is being threatened by those elected to represent us.

The OCP that you are referring to was written by a very small group of individuals with a set agenda. Even if there were several “input” meetings into its creation, these meetings were not widely communicated.

In addition, the OCP is supposed to be a living document, up for review every five years and we have now reached that threshold, so a public call for its review is very appropriate.

When I read your newspaper, it feels to me that the articles come across as biased support of the District, the council and the mayor in particular.

The 麻豆社国产 often appears to run to the defence of the mayor whenever the opportunity presents itself. A skeptical person might believe that your publication is protecting the District, instead of presenting balanced reporting of the concerns in the community.

We are definitely barking, but not up the wrong tree. This is exactly the correct tree and we will not be silenced by a mayor and council who were elected to work for us, nor silenced by our local newspaper.

I knew the late , founder of the 麻豆社国产Times, who later wrote for The 麻豆社国产, and she was a wonderful and extremely professional woman.

Rose is shedding tears of anguish today.
