His Liberal Party is down in the polls, by a lot; trusted protection site currently gives the Conservative Party of Canada 99% odds of winning the most seats if the election were held today.
A recent found 73% Canadians think Trudeau should resign as leader of the Liberal Party so that party members can elect a new leader.

The Â鶹Éç¹ú²ú polled 253 readers and asked the question: Should Prime Minister Justin Trudeau step down as soon as possible?
The poll ran from 12/19/2024 to 12/28/2024. Of the 253 votes, we can determine that 91 are from within the community.
It should be noted that poll respondents don't have to state where they live. Only those who chose to disclose location are counted in the local tally.
The vast majority— more than 77%—of those who took the poll think the prime minister should resign.
