How many council or committee meetings have you attended since Sept. 1, 2017?

I have been to only one in person but i watched alot online and followed them closely .

What do you love most about Squamish? (150 word limit)

All the friendships I have made growing up in a small town like听 Squamish. Played听 lots of听 sports growing up here like soccer, golf, and slo-pitch also the hiking, biking and outdoor activities听 . Have worked at Save on Foods from almost 28 years and seeing all the friendly faces everyday .

Are you endorsing a particular candidate for mayor? (question for councilor candidates)

No/Not at this time

What do you think is the biggest single issue facing Squamish? (150 words limit)

I think there is more than one issue facing 麻豆社国产today. If I had to pick one it would be affordable housing.

In the last term, what was council's single greatest accomplishment? What was council's biggest failure? (150 character limit)

听I think the last council听 should've听 been听 getting developers to make听 sure they were paying their fare share for upgrades to infrastructure and amenities.听 All the developments don't have enough parking听 .

Residents often complain about traffic (speeding, parking etc.) What would you do to improve traffic and parking in Squamish? (150 words limit)

I think the developments have to have enough parking on site听 for the size of the development. Look for funding strategy's听 for a parking lot downtown where business owners and customers could park and walk around town .

麻豆社国产has a housing affordability crisis. What would you do to improve affordability? (150 words limit)

Set up Affordable housing fund and work with Federal and Provincial government grants that听 are available for affordable and innovative housing听 . District听 owned land would be good to set up tiny homes and also Vancouver setting up container homes. Look too other communities and see if听 private partnership or non profit opportunities are available .

Do you support stronger regulation of AirBNB?

How would you attract new businesses and employers to Squamish? (150 words limit)

Work closely with Economic Development Office to identify opportunities. Make sure the process听 is easier for company's to start up in 麻豆社国产. Show that we are open for business in Squamish.听

Do you have a strategy to implement regional transit? (150 word limit)

We will have to work with BC Transit Authority and听 come up with a strategy for transportation between 麻豆社国产, Whistler and Vancouver. The local transit has made some upgrades already.

Given limited financial resources, what do you think is the single highest priority for Brennan Park? (150 word limit)

Getting a second sheet of ice I think would be the highest priority to get better ice times for all the users.

Do you support cannabis retail shops in Squamish?

As long as they follow the guidelines set up by the Federal , Provincicial government and the听 District.
